KEYS RESPONSIBITIES

1. Supervises in taking reservations.
2. Keeps all charts, records, files and correspondence updated and accurate.
3. Prepares daily arrival list.
4. Ensures that the department operates with sales attitude.
5. Develops and maintains a high level of communication with all major sources of business.
6. Provides guest feedback for Reservation Manager when necessary.
7. Adheres to company credit policies, company?s policies and standards, and all systems and procedures of the Front Office.
8. Ensures a high level of product knowledge of the hotel.
9. Handles guests inquiries and requests professionally.
10.Works closely with all departments, especially with Sales and Banquet to ensure that tours, groups, conventions and corporate clients are handled properly.
11. Answers all reservations within 24 hours.
12. Informs Reservations Manager regarding to any unusual events (e.g. occupancy, budget, staff feedback).
13. Supports and assists training in accordance with company policies and standards.
14. Is familiar with emergency procedures of the hotel.
15. Performs other duties as assigned by Reservations manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

1. Acknowledges and screens daily work schedule.
2. De-briefing in the absence of the Department Head.
3. Establishes two-way communication with related departments.
4 Communicates effectively with guests, subordinates, immediate supervisors and other section heads.
5 Manages time effectively by meeting deadlines on time.
6 Administers personnel action on leaves & overtime requests, disciplinary actions and commendation.
7 Identifies and solves problems in a professional manner.
