Knowledge, Skill and Ability
? Previous experience managing a team through motivation, coaching, and development.
? Proven experience in hotel management and knowledgeable in all departmental operational procedures.
? Ability to maintain and understand budgeting and other financial/accounting reports & practices.
? Proven excellence in customer service and experience to interact effectively with guests, all levels of management, associates and clientele, both inside and outside of the organization.
? Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
? Advance knowledge of hotel management and point of sales system.
? Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision making skills ability.
? Self-motivated to accomplish goals with a strong sense of responsibility, and good leadership skills to supervise & motivate staffs.
? Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
? Must be able to work on private secluded island for long period of time w/ flexible working hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Formal Training:
? High school diploma or hospitality industry accredited course of the related field.
? On-the-job experience in the same field at high level of management position.
Experience:
Minimum 6 years of experience in similar position or executive management position.
Job Summary:
The Resort Manager will be responsible for directing and coordinating the day-to-day operation of the Resort. This will require developing a strong support team, formation of the management/supervisory team, and in which the training of the general staffs and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures will be the primary concern
