- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Culinary Science or related certificate would be a plus.
- Thai male/female
- 3 years experiences in Thai fine dining or restaurant.
- Knowledge and understanding of Restaurant regulation, Sanitation / Hygiene and or HACCP basic practices.
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures both Western and Thai Cuisines.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Preferred skills; leadership, positive, ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, creative, flexible and problem solving.
- Proficiency in Thai and basic English
- Be able to work on the Island environment.
- Preparing and supervising all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality for Thai fine dining experience.
- Ensuring a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance.
- Works with head chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities.
- Assisting the head chef with menu creation.
- Manages food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimized waste, plus works with existing systems to improve waste reduction and manage budgetary concerns.
- Coordinating with F&B management team on supply ordering, budget, and kitchen efficiency, food storage and staffing.
- Keeping the kitchen environment safe and hygienic.
- Supervising other kitchen staff, as well as keeping an eye out for problems.
