- Responsible for the day-to-day management of associates working in the Department
- Analyze and respond to guest feedback, guest satisfaction and associate satisfaction information; and give a positive commitment to continuous improvement of product and performance
- Implement promotions, strategies and special events
- Prepare daily briefings, so all staff are aware of Hotel activities
- Motivate staff and assist with continuity of associates
- Ensure and understand the correct procedures for handling intoxicated and underage guests
- Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety rules
- Maintain and control all venue expenses and ensure they are within budget guidelines
- To prepare and serve beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, in a professional manner.
- Responsible for the ordering and stock control of the bar.
- Always strive to obtain the maximum efficiency and promote teamwork between all associates.
