? Knowledge of all the protocols of an event.
? Complete understanding of the Group, Event & Convention aspect of the function room, outside catering and MICE group.
? Understanding to effectively promote and position the brand and the hotel at its desired level.
? Sound communication skills.
? 2 years experience in a similar role at international chain hotels.
Responsible for receiving all catering only leads above 50 people per day (excluding Weddings, Residence bookings, restaurant bookings and Residential meetings ) and taking each inquiry through to exchange of contract and deposit then handing the file across to the C&E operations team. Works with operational departments and kitchens to achieve the hotel?s market positioning and revenue goals & objectives maximizing the revenue from all opportunities received. This includes managing leads and space to optimize hotel returns. Always strives to obtain a maximum level of efficiency and promotes teamwork between all staff. Adheres to objectives, policies, standards and procedures.
