- To arrive at work on time in the uniform provided, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance, according to the associate handbook.
- To have a complete knowledge of the hotel product, including room types, rates, relative features and facilities, food and beverage outlets, spa and health club.
- Read the Housekeeping logbook every day for any relevant notes that need attention or response.
- Ensure correct systems are in place for tracking flower orders.
- Ensure correct systems are in place for monitoring, tracking and transferring cost to other departments of the hotel. This should be done monthly prior to month end.
- Track performance of sales to budget, early detection of shortfall is essential.
- Avoid overtime through good supervision and immediate response to problems.
- Ensure flowers are stored at correct temperature to ensure spoilage does not occur.
- Ensure wastage is kept to a minimum; many floral items can be recycled.
- Ensure all associates practice correct telephone etiquette.
- Ensure correct accounting procedures are in place as outlined by the accounts department.
- Develop training systems to improve knowledge and skill of florists.
- To perform all jobs in an efficient manner to achieve a productivity level of merit.
- Attend training sessions as required.
- Attend meeting as required.
- Perform tasks as requested by management.
