Overall Role Purpose:
1. Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting.
2. Provide excellent customer service by training and guiding staff on proper service techniques.
3. Address customer complaints and maintain a positive attitude to ensure a positive dining experience.
4. Maintain high food quality standards and enforce health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
5. Oversee and support all front-of-house staff, such as waiters, bartenders, hosts, and cleaners, by providing continuous training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
Accountabilities:
1. Assist with the hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.
2. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared on time and accurately, monitor food service, and resolve any issues or concerns related to food quality or customer satisfaction.
3. Manage cash transactions, oversee financial processes, and maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory.
4. Implement and enforce restaurant policies and procedures, including dress code, staff conduct, and operational guidelines.
5. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the restaurant, including kitchen facilities, to create a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.
6. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative strategies to enhance restaurant performance.
