- Able to communicate in English is a must
- Diploma or Culinary Certificate
- At least 2 years of experience in Sous Chef Role
- Culinary Training
- Computer literate
- Skill and experience in Japanese cuisine is a must
- Personally responsible for consistency & presentations of food during operations
- Conduct training of standard recipes and control food quality
- Supervising all Kitchen operations, PAR stock control, cost control, FIFO
- Monitor sanitation practices and ensure that kitchen safety standards are followed
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff and other food preparation workers
- Prepare weekly roster
- To liaise with staff in direct support and cooperation with Executive Chef
- Ensure all company standards are adhered and followed on a day to day basis
