Qualifications
??Bachelor?s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or related technical field.
??Minimum 8?10 years? experience in hotel and restaurant estaurant engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
???Strong technical knowledge of building systems and hotel and restaurant equipment.
???Proven experience in preventive maintenance planning, safety compliance, and project coordination.
???Good command of English (spoken and written).
???Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Responsibilities
1.Engineering Operations & Maintenance
??Oversee day-to-day maintenance and engineering operations across all hotel and F&B areas.
?Ensure proper functioning of all systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, kitchen equipment, and lighting systems.
??Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
??Supervise and inspect repair and maintenance work carried out by internal staff and contractors.
2. Team Leadership & Supervision
??Lead, train, and develop the engineering and maintenance team.
??Assign daily tasks and monitor work performance for efficiency and safety.
??Foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
3. Safety, Compliance & Energy Management
??Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, fire safety codes, and occupational health standards.
??Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments for guest and staff areas.
???Monitor and manage energy and water consumption, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
4. Project & Vendor Management
??Coordinate and supervise renovation, repair, and installation projects.
??Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and government agencies as needed.
??Evaluate vendor performance and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
5. Budget & Reporting
???Prepare and manage the engineering department?s annual budget, including maintenance and capital expenditures.
???Maintain accurate records for maintenance logs, equipment history, and utility consumption.
???Submit monthly engineering and utility performance reports to management.
