-Minimum of 3-5 years hotel / resort experience
-Must have demonstrated proficiency with applicable laws/regulations and management theories, including policy/procedure development
-Possess exceptional people skills with an excellent working track record
-Excellent communication, Training, Representations and computer skills
Enthusiastic and proactive person with analytical skills
-Good command of written and spoken English
-Creative, self-motivated and able to work as a team
-Strong in building relationships at all levels

Responsibilities:
-Assists in the routine function of Personnel Administration as well as employee welfare & benefit and all employee activities.
-Participates in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies for the establishment.
-Assists Department Heads and make recommendations regarding Human Resource issues including staffing levels.
-Ensures compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace.
-Manages the recruitment systems within the hotel, paying particular attention to advertising, screening, work permits, reference checks and administration of all new hires.
-Develops and administer Hotel Human Resource Policies and Procedures.
-Implements and maintains Human Resources Department training systems.
-Preparation documents to apply the Visa, Work Permit and 90 days report.
Training
-Ensures that all new employees attend the Hotel Orientation program
-Conducts training needs analysis of the hotel and departments.
-Designs, produces and implements training programs to meet specific department/hotel needs.
-Prepares and administer the training calendar on a regular basis.
-Ensures all employees receive ongoing training in Best Western Hotels and Resorts Training Programs.
-Monitors all training activities conducted on and off site.
-Actively promotes a working environment, which cares for guests and employees alike.
-Manages the administration of trainees and apprentices on the property.
