Qualifications
1.A minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Manager role or a similar position. Experience in the real estate business or a related industry is a strong plus.
2.Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Public Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
3.Deep understanding of HR principles and processes, including recruitment, talent development, compensation management, and labor laws.
4.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives and employees at all levels.
5.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and management skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
For Payroll
1. Payroll Processing & Administration
Data Management: Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information (e.g., new hires, terminations, salary changes).
Timekeeping: Monitoring employee time logs, overtime, and leaves of absence to ensure hours worked align with pay.
Disbursements: Executing the final pay run, whether via direct deposit, paper checks, or electronic transfers.
2. Tax & Legal Compliance
Tax Filing: Calculating and withholding federal, state, and local taxes, and ensuring timely filing of reports (e.g., W-2s, 1099s).
Regulatory Adherence: Staying updated on labor laws like the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) to manage minimum wage and overtime rules.
Garnishments: Processing court-ordered deductions like child support or tax levies.
3. Benefits & Deductions
Benefits Oversight: Managing employee deductions for health insurance, 401(k) contributions, and HSA/FSA accounts.
Reconciliation: Working with the Finance department to ensure payroll totals match the general ledger.
4. Reporting & Auditing
HRIS Management: Maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure data integrity.
Internal Audits: Conducting regular audits of payroll records to catch errors or discrepancies before they become legal issues.
