Samed Tamarind Beach Resort

        Koh Samed is a small beautiful island in the Southeast vicinity of Bangkok (200 km), in the area of Rayong district. The island is famous for its magnificent beaches and for the well-known Thai poet, Sunthornpuh, who wrote poetry about this place.

       A part of Koh Samed belongs to the National Park Kaow Laem Ya. The Resort is located directly at the white sandy Ao Phai Beach facing the turquoise blue sea. It was built in 1987, rebuilt and extended in 2003/05/09 and fully renovated in 2011.

       The bungalows offer an ambience of simple well-design rooms in a pristine natural garden setting and belong now to the best accommodations on the island.

ROOMS

       They have a great view over the bay and the sea. The Bungalows are surrounded by a colourful palm fringed tropical garden with the romantic scenery of the Ao Phai bay. Each villa is fully air-conditioned, has a comfortable specious bathroom and a private balcony, TV, fridge & safe inbuilt. Shower, toilet room provides hot and cold water. Windows and doors have mosquito screens. These bungalows are the favourite of our guests. Some provide a comfortable queen double bed and a single bed, others have a king-size bed. These rooms are suitable for 2-3 guests.

Breakfast Buffet
       The breakfast buffet opens from 7:00 – 10:30 AM with a wide range of delicious Thai and international dishes.

Restaurant & Snack Bar
       The dinning facilities at Samed Villa Resort are for all tastes : locally caught fish and seafood, Thai and European dishes, lovingly prepared by our team of expert chefs.

Beach Barbecue
       In the evening dinner is served at the beach. A great variety of steaks and fresh seafood barbeque are at disposition. Being in a romantic ambience, a glass of our excellent wine is recommended. Our waiters would be pleased to serve you.

Marina Bar
       Alternatively, our guests can choose the "Marina" beach bar to enjoy a drink whilst listening to the background music and the waves of the Ao Phai bay. Our bar offers many cocktails, beers, other alcoholic and soft drinks.
