Upselling of hotel rooms and facilities to maximize revenue
Complete all shift duties as outlined on shift check list prior to the end of shift
Handle pre-registration for VIPs or other special attention guests
Process in room check in & in car check in
Attend to all guest enquiries in a helpful and professional manner
Be familiar with hotel room configuration, all special rates & programs and Langham Privilege Card Program
Be familiar with hotel facilities & services
Understand the hotel PMS in regards to Front Desk operation
Attend daily briefing, be aware of on-day room?s situation
Update guest profiles in hotel PMS as per LHI standard
Work closely with other departments to ensure maximum guest satisfaction
Attend assigned training sessions
Ensure all front-of-house areas are in presentable condition
Deploy to Resort Host, Smart Centre, when necessary
Inspect all rooms prior to guest arrivals, ensure all amenities are in place
Greet, and check in all VIPs
Handle dissatisfied guests to resolve complaints, take remedial actions immediately Ensure all guest concerns are promptly logged and report to the management
Respond to all emergency situations when Senior Resort Host or Manager on Duty is not available e.g. fire alarm, theft case, guest accidents, make every effort to minimize disturbance or causing inconvenience to guests. Again, ensure all incidents are properly logged for future reference
Assist Chief Concierge in organising and hosting weekly local tour for in-house guests
