- To maintain an atmosphere of tranquility at the Front Desk
- To attend to all guests who approach the Front Desk, immediately, cordially and with a smile.
- To attend to hotel guests in the SOP of registering, esquires, key handling, messages, faxes, parcel and all related matters.
- To take every opportunity to promote rooms and their facilities by using the knowledge of room configuration when dealing with room related guest inquiries or reservation request.
- To display an excellent knowledge of the special services and the benefits offered by our property members, - Long Staying Guests- .
- To file - Pre-registration Cards- in alphabetical order based on each guest- s last name for the next day- s arrival.
- To escort First Time Guest to the room and offer a brief upbeat introduction of hotel facilities and room facilities.
- To offer the room changes in an efficient and smooth manner.
- To post all guest charges and payments using their own personal access code on the computer in an efficient and accurate manner.
- To answer the telephone promptly and clearly, ensuring a courteous and friendly manner by using SOP and using guest- s name.
- To keep the daily Log Book up to date.
- To arrange guest bills into respective pockets and verify recurrences.
- To handle foreign exchange in a smooth, efficient, upbeat and friendly manner ensuring that a receipt is given.
- To check the correctness of all financial transactions made during their shifts and accurately in full fill all pertinent documents.
- To prepare and balance a cash report and remittance envelops to the Accounting Department at the end of the shift.
- To politely take wake-up call requests and clearly record into the - Wake up Call Record- .
- To register the promptly ensuring that they are provided with all the necessary information.
