Job Title: Assistant Digital Technology Manager
Department: Information Technology / Digital Technology
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Ascott Sathorn Bangkok & Somerset Park Suanplu Bangkok
Job Summary:
The Assistant Digital Technology Manager supports in overseeing the hotel?s IT infrastructure, systems, and digital platforms to ensure smooth daily operations. This role is responsible for maintaining hotel technology systems, supporting users, implementing digital solutions, and ensuring cybersecurity and system reliability across all hotel departments.
** Key Responsibilities **
1. IT Operations & System Management:
- Assist in managing and maintaining hotel IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and hardware.
- Ensure smooth operation of hotel systems such as PMS, POS, key card systems, and other hospitality applications.
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues promptly.
2. User Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support to hotel associates for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system problems to minimize operational disruptions.
- Conduct basic IT training for staff when required.
3. Digital Systems & Innovation:
- Support implementation of new digital technologies and hotel system upgrades.
- Assist in improving digital guest experience solutions such as mobile check-in, in-room technology, and guest Wi-Fi.
- Work with vendors and partners for system integrations and improvements.
4. Cybersecurity & Compliance:
- Ensure IT systems comply with hotel policies and security standards.
- Monitor network security and assist in preventing cyber threats.
- Support data protection and backup procedures.
5. Vendor & Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Assist in IT projects, upgrades, and system installations.
- Maintain IT documentation and asset inventory.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of IT experience, preferably in hospitality or service industry.
- Knowledge of hotel systems such as PMS, POS, network infrastructure, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity, cloud systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:
- Experience with hospitality systems (e.g., Opera PMS, Micros POS).
