1. Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff in food preparation and service
2. Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency meet standards
3. Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and food safety (HACCP standards)
4. Control food cost, portioning, and minimize waste
5. Support menu planning, recipe development, and food costing
6. Train, coach, and evaluate kitchen staff performance
7. Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients
8. Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained
9. Handle guest feedback and resolve issues related to food

1. Diploma or Bachelor?s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field (preferred)
2. Minimum 3?5 years of experience in kitchen operations
3. At least 1?2 years in a supervisory or senior cook role
4. Experience in hotel or restaurant environment preferred
5. Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisines
6. Leadership and team management skills
7. Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
8. Ability to manage time and work under pressure
9. Cost control and inventory management skills
10. Creativity in menu planning and food presentation
11. Passion for cooking and continuous learning
Detail-oriented and quality-focused
12. Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
13. Flexible and able to work long or irregular hours
14. Good teamwork and communication skills
15. Basic to good English communication skills
16. Additional languages are an advantage
