Job Qualifications

- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is often required, with at least 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Strong understanding of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and industry standards for cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to notice and address even minor cleanliness issues to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.
- Effective organizational skills to manage schedules, inventory, and staff assignments efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and other departments effectively.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills to motivate and guide housekeeping staff, resolve conflicts, and promote teamwork.
- Focus on guest satisfaction and the ability to handle guest requests and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.

- Directly oversee the housekeeping team. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure that all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, are maintained to high cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies such as cleaning products, linens, and amenities.
- Create work schedules for housekeeping staff to ensure proper coverage. Handle employee shift changes and manage time-off requests.
- Monitor the quality of cleaning and maintenance services provided by the team. Address any issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
